The total number of different kami enshrined at these jinja is 160: as many of them are enshrined at more than one jinja  the total number of enshrinements is 497, making the average number of enshrined kami per jinja  3.1. Perhaps unsurprisingly the kami enshrined at most jinja, 37, is Ukanomitama-mikoto (better known as Inari-sama). She is followed by Susano-o-no mikoto, the kami at 33 shrines
